Dedicating the efforts to my Father
Pakistan Dream VS America Dream
I start working on “Lesson’s from the Top: The Most Successful People in Pakistan…and What We Can Learn from Them” before four years.
It all start with an online conversation with an American friend, she is working with New York Times and all praise about the American dream (The American Dream is a national ethos of the United States, In the definition of the American Dream by James Truslow Adams in 1931, “life should be better and richer and fuller for everyone, with opportunity for each according to ability or achievement” regardless of social class or circumstances of birth.)
We discuss about the successful American and that day I decided that I will write about the successful people of Pakistan not only to pay the sheer tribute to our success Leaders but for the recognition of my country on global scale as a place of opportunities for everyone.
We take it as a mission and go through one month brain storming at Success Headquarter, did all the basic documentations, all the contracts are done, a small but dynamic team is formed, some interviews were also conducted, and there I heard the worst News of my life, my dear father was diagnosed a very rare kind of Cancer. The world went upset down for us, I leave everything for the man who taught me the meaning of life, work, success and the ethics of living. Doctors declared that he had not more than two months, but he fights with Cancer more than 9months but eventually we lost this race against time.
It took me much time to come out from the depression and understanding the fact that although he is not physically with me now, but the bond is much strong and he wants me to accomplish the pending work as he likes the idea of book very much. We re-arrange contracts, re- schedule everything, re-formed working team and the works begin.
We, at Success Foundation, dedicated this effort to my Father, Syed Akhter Raza, and I know he will look at us from the top and praying for our success.
